Problem statement:
Many users struggle with current lighted makeup mirrors due to overly bright lights, poor adjustability, and lack of connectivity features. These issues limit functionality, leaving users frustrated and unable to fully customize their experience. Additionally, app integrations are often seen as unnecessary or confusing.
By adding fun features like the ability to save looks, access tutorials, and receive product updates, the mirror can offer a more engaging, intuitive, and personalized experience, increasing user satisfaction and enhancing the product’s overall value.
This redesign was all about creating a sleek, clean look. An example is the clean girl bathroom vibe. By keeping the user experience super simple and easy to navigate, the design gives the product itself space to shine. The focus is on making things feel modern, calm, and effortless.

Here are some wireframe and product sketches. I knew from the start that I wanted the mirror to look simple and minimal, but with elevated, smart features that make it stand out.
This project took several weeks to complete, each step of the process being carefully followed and developed, ensuring that my work is elaborated and polished.
Overall, I am happy with the outcome of this project, I would use this mirror everyday while getting ready.
